: Amazing how this happens... once again there are several fake Seamaster
: Professionals selling on eBay. On a couple, the sellers directly state
: that they are 'copy' watches and not the real thing. Normally, eBay will
: squash items clearly labeled as fakes once they come to their notice.

: But one fake has reached a dangerous level - is already has 40 bids on it by
: 4 potential buyers and is up to $300! That got it flagged as an eBay *HOT*
: item.

: All this despite the seller saying: " I cannot insure its authenticity
: ..." [red lettering is the seller's]

: Telltale clues are: use of the word 'AUTOMATIC' on the dial, beveled edge
: inside date window, and the biggie -- a see through back!

: The sad part is that eBay will not intervene in this auction unless someone
: from Omega reports it as a fake. eBay will no longer accept a counterfeit
: report from an independent expert.
