Seamaster Planet Ocean Chrono or 300M Chrono diver

Hi everybody.

I already own a deville power reserve watch which I use as a dress watch. I'm contemplating to buy another one to wear on the beach and both the seamaster Planet Ocean Chrono (2910.50.81) and the 300M chrono diver (2925.80.91) appealed to me. I checked teh price of both watches with a local AD and I noticed that the price of the Planet Ocean was substantially higher (nearly twice the price) than that of the classic 300M chrono diver.

I was wondering what justified the difference in price. Is the 3313 caliber based on coaxial technology so superior to the 1164 caliber? Is the depth difference (600 m instead of 300 m) or simply the fact that the Planet Ocean is a newer and more trendy watch that justifies this difference in price.

This brings me to teh question that I am asking myself. Which of these two warches are worth the best deal?
