Re: I have it !!!
In Response To: I have it !!! ()

:
: I just found & checked another OFREI page
: => OFREI's Omega Bracelets page
: previously I only checked their bracelet
: links page.

: If I search this page with any of the 3 numbers
: that we currently have ( 1155 or 1205 or
: 1233 ) I find matches. Some of the matches
: are for braclets to REPLACE the one we're
: looking for, some are matches.

: NONE of them look like my bracelets :-(

: I'm SURE my bracelets are correct ( there's
: also a Cosmic 2000 pictured on Page 98 of
: the "japanese Seamaster book" with
: this bracelet )

: THEN I noticed the case ref in the Japanese
: book .. 366.0830 :-)

: Armed with this I went to the OVI ( Omega
: Vintage Information ) webpage & entered
: the number. They show this pic

:

: Which shows exactly my watch & bracelet.

: & the text has the following :-

:
:
: This watch may have existed with different
: dials.

: More product information

: Case ref. = 166.0160
: Case : (11,1 x 40 x 41 mm), with SS integrated
: bracelet of ref. 1205/217.
: Bezel : rotating, knurled, with
: "1-12" scale
: International Collection : 1973-1979
: Swiss retail price (1978) : CHF 520.-

:

:
: So I think we have it now :-) It's a 1205/217

: ( I'm still wondering what the 1155/254 &
: 1233/215 are though )

: I have no idea where you can find one of these
: bracelets though.

Steve,
Thanks very much for your excellent sleuthing.
Now, I'm on the trail for a 1205/217. I came up with the 1233/215 from a photo on O Frei's page that has ends that appear to fit.
I'll report back when I know more information.

Thanks,

Jim
