Chronometer gets stuck!

Hello

Two weeks ago I received a beautiful SMP Chronometer Diver Titan. Everything was great, it is a bit thick but the chronometer should justify it, don't you think? Well, I thought it would.

Just before I was about to plunge to the water for a dive, I played a bit with the Chronometer and guess what? The little minute hand (the one that goes from 0 to 30 gets stuck after 4 minutes of operation. I was (and still am) shocked.

The problem repeats itself about every other try, when the minute hand gets stuck on 4, however the hour indicator, and of course the lovely second indicator, still move nicely. Sometimes the minutes hand gets free and starts moving again - but then without sync with the hours indicator...

IMHO there is nothing worst then a chronometer you can't trust - that is if you use it, and if I wouldn't have planed on using it, then I could have avoided the bulkiness of the Chronometer and settle for a nice and slim GMT or 007.

Any help or info about similar experiences would be greatly appreciated,

Zo
