: The Royal Mail website suggests taking out your
: own private insurance to cover items over
: £500 in transit. This is probably good
: advice and shouldn't cost much if you have a

: The value of my watch is under £500 so I have
: sent it "Royal Mail International
: Signed For" plus insurance.
: I prefer "Signed For" as someone does
: sign for it. With "Airsure" the
: postman logs it as delivered on his computer
: without getting a signature.

: pocket and covered it up with a sheet of
