With the fear of seeming a complete ignoramus I have the following query:
A couple of weeks ago I flew from Miami to London. As a consequence of the time change I moved the watch (SMP Chronograph)5 hours ahead. Upon doing this the date also moved forward 1/2 a day. I was unable to move the date forward to get back to the original date since it would not adjust beyond the following day. I therefore had to turn the hour and minute hand through a whole month to get back to the correct date and time that I was trying to achieve originally. (does that make sense?)
Does this mean that the watch is out of sequence for adjusting the months?, i.e will it display a day short or extra at the end of the month? How does the watch know what month it is and have i kow changed that? How do these things work?
Many thanks to whoever is able to answer my questions.
