Remember, a whole day is when the hour hand goes around the entire dial TWICE. Watches have no fancy AM / PM concept-- they simply advance the date EVERY OTHER TIME the watch passes 12:00.

So if you rolled the time forward an ODD multiple of 12 hours, you got the date change occurring the wrong 12:00.

Simply advance the hands another 12 hours to return the date to changing back at midnight.

If you pull the crown out to the first stop, you can roll the date forward without changing the time.
