As a long time TAG owner, I've never been completely satisfied with overall metal hardness on both their case and band. I'm currently considering the 2531.80 as my next everyday time piece. I don't feel I'm particularly hard on watches. So, my question is this; does Omega use the same or similar metal and processes in creating the SMP as say the TAG folks do for the 6000? I understand Rolex has the highest hardness rating in the business. Can anyone shed light on this?
