: My 4 year old 2500A Aqua Terra is now loosing

: quite frankly never noticed this before as I

: my winders for about 2 weeks and is loosing
: every day, could this be something simple
: like its been magnetized or is it the
: dreaded Co-Axial unreliability that has been
: bounded around?

Well, a couple of things. If it is an AquaTerra, it isn't a 2500A movement. Those were only in a very few limited edition Devilles.

Second thing, that being on a winder is not the same as being on your wrist. Manually wind it and wear it for a couple of days and see what results you get before believing something is wrong.

If it is losing that much time, magnetization is a possibility, easily corrected by most watchmakers.

40 seconds a day is within the range of adjustment, which a watchmaker can do in a few minutes -- if you get his attention.

Good luck & give us a report!!!
