Seamaster Crown

I recently purchased a Seamaster Divers Professional Chronometer (300m). I suspect I may have received the wrong operating instruction book, as it does not describe how to use the helium escape valve etc. (Managed to get the info from your site - thanx)
The instructions state that "Certain models have screw-in crown and push-buttons. They have to be unscrewed before setting the time or activating the chronograph function. After use they have to be rescrewed (water resistance)".
My watch does not appear to have this screw in crown as you can simply pull it out to set the watch. I would just like to confirm that I do not need to do this before I take the watch for it's first plunge.

Any comments welcome !
