I don't think that's out of the ordinary. For comparison, on my SMP, I notice the date beginning to change at about 11:15pm and then it clicks rapdily over at about 5 mins to midnight. If you want the date to change closer to midnight, send the watch to Omega for adjustment. Being that mine changes at 5 mins to midnight, I'll just wait until the first service, and have Omega adjust it then.
