Re: valuation question
In Response To: valuation question ()

: I am thinking of selling my reduced speedy
: 3810.50. I bought it in 2006 and wore it all
: the time until recently. I still have the
: box, outer and inner, the little rope tag,
: book and card holder, no warranty card. It
: has some wear and does not have the original
: leather band anymore. One of the big issues
: is that the minute hand has somehow worn
: through a little. It has never kept very
: good time and has been serviced twice. I no
: longer wear it (military) and am looking to
: sell it to help fund my upcoming wedding.
: Can anyone give me an idea as to what I can
: expect to get for it. Thanks

The best opinion is no one's opinion: search Ebay for closed auctions with your reference number. Make sure you are looking at completed sales (shows up as a green price on my browser) and that you are looking at preowned rather than new (gray market) watches.

The 3810 is a reasonably popular model and you should find some instances. If you don't, look at Omega's website: www.omega.ch and find the model number of similar watches, such as the same model with a bracelet and search for that model number, adjusting the price downward for the lack of a bracelet by $100 or so.

Opinions of anyone except the man making an offer for your watch don't mean much!!
