Omega Seamaster Quartz Version

I have the 2541.80 which is the quartz version. The watch is accurate and is really great. I do have one question anyone might be able to answer but my second hand does not hit each second marker by landing on the hash mark but in between the hash marks, it is sort of aggrivating especially if I am timing something to the second.
Could you please tell me if this is correctable and how I can have it done?
