Hmmm. As you said it is a subjective decision, but if you are 6'5 and 245, I would think the midsize would look more like a ladies watch on you, even with the skinny wrists.
I am 6'0 and 140lbs, my wrist is about 6 3/4", but the midsize just didn't work for me.
But of course, it's what makes you happy that counts.
