Geoff, I just recieved my new blk/blk SMP (with Bond bracelet). I can't agree more about the legibility of the black face. I can easily tell the time without my bifocles on, even in the dark. The lack of white ring around the "blacked out" date window helps a lot. I really love this watch. It's too bad Omega doesn't make a blk/blk Titanium...
