: love with the watch but a little nervous
: about how the white gold bezel will hold up
: under normal wear (nicks and scratches vs.
You may be unnecessarily worried because of a misconception: the entire rotating bezel is *not* white gold. The majority of the bezel is steel just like on the regular SMP models. Only the cosmetic insert piece that is the strip with the numbers on it is made of white gold. So the other bezel you were asking about is 90% the same, merely with a black anodized aluminum strip instead of the embossed white gold one in yours.
So relax--nothing to be nervous about. It should hold up just fine. Omega makes these things with normal wear in mind, so they are tested to hold up to it. Several readers here have had their America's Cup model for almost a year now and I've heard no reports of any problems.
Besides, why go to the expense to buy a fix for something that you are only *guessing* might *eventually* be a problem?
