I may be mistaken, but I believe losing 2.5 seconds a day is within chronometer specifications.
Did you provide the warranty information?
Why did you not return the watch to the AD for a warranty service?
Is the location you took the watch to an authorized Omega Service Center?
Co-axial escapements are routinely sent to Secacus even for warranty work even by QSCs. Remember, warranty work does not pay well (as with autos) and the servicer would rather send it to NJ.
