What are your objectives in selecting *either* of these watches?
Certainly, both are casual to semi-dressy styles. That makes them good choices for an everyday watch as they are more than satisfactory for most situations.
Between the two, I would give a slight edge to the Seamaster 120 over the Explorer I.
The Explorer I is one of the slight variations of the basic Rolex Oyster design--the single most copied watch look in the world. Sure, it is the *original* that everyone else has copied. But as I have said many times before: it is hard for a Rolex to look like a Rolex when everything else looks like a Rolex, too!
