I do quite a lot of traveling, and consequently, I often need to change the time on my new SMP due to time zone changes. My question is whether or not it is wise to roll the time back (i.e. turn the watch hands in a counter-clockwise direction when I need to set the time an hour or more earlier). I know that the wristwatch FAQ here recommends against it, but my SMP owner's manual mentions that I can turn the hands either way. Will rolling the time back really damage the watch?
