Re: rolling time back
In Response To: rolling time back ()

I addressed this to Omega in an email, and they told me as long as you adhere with the manual you should be ok. Just don't mess with the watch between 8pm and 2 am ...

: I do quite a lot of traveling, and
: consequently, I often need to change the
: time on my new SMP due to time zone changes.
: My question is whether or not it is wise to
: roll the time back (i.e. turn the watch
: hands in a counter-clockwise direction when
: I need to set the time an hour or more
: earlier). I know that the wristwatch FAQ
: here recommends against it, but my SMP
: owner's manual mentions that I can turn the
: hands either way. Will rolling the time back
: really damage the watch?
