My replies to the price of the Grail were made in jest, you know how I am..................
I've taken one or two in the rear on watch deals before.
We, as watch nerds or guys or whatever, tend to think in dollars and cents almost always.
There are things that money can never buy........piece of mind. Most know from whom I
bought the "Grail" from, some don't but most do, I'll leave him nameless, he sold me the watch because
he knew what it meant to me. We had met in person while traveling and became friends
and the rest is history. I know how this gentleman conducts himself and what he is
about. He knows me. Its the one watch that I've always wanted and wanted the best
from a person I trusted explicitly. This gentleman mailed me the watch without any payment
whatsoever. He trusted me. I mailed him a check. The rest is history.
Its a deal that I do not regret. I wouldn't even second guess it. I wear if often and lovingly and think
of this gentleman when I do. He made it possible.
All kidding aside, we all have bought things that we really wanted. If you feel like it was a bargain,
it was.
Now would someone please send me my "Bailout" check so i can buy some groceries?
