Rounding the Clubhouse turn

If you are a racing fan. Horses that is, that phrase is very familiar. If you're not it means the horses are entering the final turn in the race and will now go all out for the finish line. Well I have my Omega Special US edition and my Rolex 14060M COSC entering the clubhouse turn second by second. Set both about 12-13 days ago by the US Atomic clock. Between wearing one the other was on a winder. Ten days have come and gone and I just finished checking and both are at + 14 seconds deviation.
That ain't bad in anybodies book for mechanical watches. Especially when I read the stories of Omega sending out watches without any QC. I would much prefer
seeing all Swiss and German makers who send their ebauches for testing to wait and send the completed product. Of course the test and testing would have to be revised but the consumer I think would be much happier in the long run.
