It was aimed at me Shaun

: thanks for your answer, I'm guessing I was not the main target of
: the answer... ;-)

: You talk about the two watches with the same movement but different
: prices .... a 9k difference between two watches with the same
: movement (both in mint condition) seems pretty benign to me.

: How about the price difference between my bel air gmt (I paid
: around $700 for it) and some rare rolex daytona for $30k?

: I'm pretty sure there are some stupid bling modern watches out
: there for $20-50k on a valj 7750 movement? Maybe the forum guys
: can think of the biggest disparity.

I'll take that bullet Shaun, step aside and remain safe from the snipers.
About that grail gentlemen............................well, it was worth it to me when I bought it
and its still worth it to me now. I have no intention of selling the watch so the price is really irrelevant at this point.
Its a watch that continues to be a grail for me and that probably won't change. I'm a confirmed Speedmaster nut
and continue to buy them, and, I probably won't be satisfied till I own one of every model. Thats probably going to
be near impossible but I'm a relatively young man so there is plenty of time.
I have no idea where the current prices on watches is going, seems they have not stabilized at all and continue
to plummet. Good deals to be had out there in the used market and you got to think that the ADs for the luxury
brands have got to be scrambling to sell the high line stuff. As referenced by David, Sam and I watch shopping
on Thursday afternoon, there are deals in the 40% to 50% off range. Wish I had some funds to spend.
On the concrete/economy/Obama thing................I'd rather not discuss is as it makes others of a less conservative
nature angry. I'm all about change..............right now I'm trying to keep what change I have left. How about some
of that stimulus? Stimulus is not spending money you don't have, its getting people to spend money they do have
and thats not happening. Its sorta like sending the White House my American Express and telling them to spend me
into bankruptcy. I find the current administration with its world views, economic
views and moral compass very distasteful. The treatment of our armed services is at the very least, reprehensible. I'll leave it at that.

I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast guys, interesting and diverse and no one without something to say. I hope I get
invited back after the above mentioned thoughts. Someone else opened that door so I felt compelled to comment.
Please see the results of the bank stimulus below.

Many thanks to Sam and Jeff for putting this GTG on, but lets try to find a place next time that doesn't charge
10 bucks for a bowl of grits.
Thanks guys for having us.
