Re: Could you elaborate a little more on the facts?

What I can't figure out is why you didn't check the watch when you purchased it. I would have wound it and set it and screwed down the
the crown to make sure everything was like it should be. When I did get home and wound the watch and found out that it was defective,
I would have loaded my ass back up and hit the AD and asked for a new watch or a refund, I would have taken no other answer whatsoever.
I would not have called and I would not have written a letter, they would have given me a refund or a watch. Period.
I assume you put it on a credit card as most people would have? If I did, and I didn't get the answers or solution I was after,
I would have reversed the charge and that would have gotten their attention.
As many watches as Omega manufactures, some are bound to be defective. It happens. The authorized dealer represents Omega
but only to a degree. The way they treated you was not Omegas fault, its their fault for being a bunch of assholes. Its also
your own fault for standing there and letting them. Take some personal responsibility for the bad deal.
I wish you the best with the outcome, I hope it really works out. If you put that watch on and American Experss, they would take
the charge right off your bill. Check with your bank or credit card carrier and see what can be done. Sorry so harsh but man up
and give them some of their own treatment.
