They said they were discontinuing them, but there has still been significant demand, so they have backed down somewhat and appear to still be making some. I have even heard of some of the "new" style being made in the two-tone.

Since when is 007 pushing the "new" SMP look? Certainly Pierce Brosnan is endorsing many Omega models including the Constellation, Dynamic, and the old and new SMP. But so far, the James Bond character has stayed true to the "classic" SMP style.
