Re: Defective Omega Seamaster 300M Quartz [Issue Resolved]

Dear all,
I thank you all again for your concern and suggestions regarding the
issue I had with a Authorised retailer and Omega after a Seamaster I had
purchased from the Authorised Omega retailer. Iam very glad that with
your help this issue has been resolved ambicably and to my satisfaction.
Below is the last mailer I (my PA Mr.Vik) sent to the Authorised retailer...

Dear Mr. ******,

Iam writing this letter to show my appreciation to you for calling me to know if I was happy with the new
watch (Ref No. 21230416101001) (Watch No. 90657233). Well, let me tell you this,
If Iam happy at something right now it has to be the changing attitude of the
Boutique towards its customers. Period.

But frankly speaking after the seemingly obvious accusation Omega has tried
to make in its last e-mail, I wouldn't like wearing any product from such company.
I do like the watch, its design is classic, aesthetics are just marvelous. It is a fact
that the watch is very nice. I had a lot of respect for Omega as a class leading
company.
But What has haunted me to no end is the sarcastic attitude and ridiculous
policies of the company Omega.

Being a 150 year old company Omega should have had a class leading after
sales customer support, and the so called heritage driven company should cater to
its customers in such a way that the rest of the competitive field should revere
them as a bench mark. In rather simple situations that involve customer satisfaction.

I just thought I'll let you know as a friend how unnecessarily I had to waste a
lot of my time with all that nonsense with the company Omega, all this was so unnecessary.
And now it has left me with such sour memories about the company, whom I so respected
and revered just a couple of months ago....
