The brand name is not 'ritex', it is 'edox'.

swiss made since 1884, found mine at a pawn shop also.
Goes on the net for $80-500,
no date on mine i'd say no later than 1930, probably 1890.

what a find,
while 2/3rds of the world and our country can't feed their kids!!
glad i bought it at the salvos, at least the $ doesnt go to the piggies.

the scum always floats to the top in the melting pot :) !
