: That's awesome, Jim. I'm really kind of surprised that you'd never
: picked one up before. I'm glad you were able to reel one in (oh,
: god, I guess there was at least one bad joke left).
: So, now that you have these two classics side-by-side, how does the
: 300 compare to the iconic Sub? Feel, weight, etc.
: Hugs and kisses,
: Alex
Thank you Alex, you were late because you were busy changing diapers, don't worry, we've all been there, its not that bad.....................
unless its me doing it.
I hadn't picked one up because I was scared I'd get taken. I don't know enough about the 300 series to buy one with confidence.
So many fakes and frankens out there its like organized crime. I'm really liking the vintage feel of the 300, its a special watch.
As far as that tired out looking Sub goes, I like them and have owned one longer than any good watch I have. It is what it is
but I hold no special affection for the Rolex, too much baggage, that, and them damned Rolex fanboys. Thats enough to turn
one against any watch Rolex ever made. The 300 is going to be the "go to" watch from now on. I see why people love them.
Thanks again Alex.
