Howdy, your story reminded me of one that I heard before I retired by one of our analysts. Hers was the reverse. She had a lovely Omega ladies ( don;t ask model, etc 'cause don't remember). But she was telling another analyst the at she got tired of replacing batteries. Sent it to Omega and it came back fully serviced as a auto mechanical hand winder in it's 18k case. This was a number of years ago and has never regretted it. Did I mention it was done at an Omega facility.
