Re: I'd say real
In Response To: I'd say real ()

: Hi George, for me it's real, it's quite an old model (probably its
: last production run was in 7 or 8 years ago) but I'd say it's
: genuine: it's signed where it should be, has perfect lettering
: etc.
: What makes you think of a fake?

: Don't get confused by the lack of the CART crest on the chrono hour
: counter at 6 o'clock, as the CART one was a limited series and
: the one you've bought the standard one. It was produced in both
: blue and yellow and was also advertised with some Micheal
: Schumacher shots.
: Hope this helps.
: Cheers.
: Fabrizio
Incredible looking watch, just sweet to the eye,I tried to see if I could spot the "red dot" seal on the back but could not see it, but then the pictures of the back do have some blacked out sections so that might be the reason... I was under the impression that "real" Omega watches ALL carried that red mark on the back, unless it disintegrated over time ( known to happen ) in any case, real or not it's a very nice looking watch.
Might answer your question if you took it into an Omega dealer and asked the watch maker what his thoughts are on the watch.
