Omega automatic v. quartz

Would like to get some discussion going on this. I believe the automatic remains the watch of choice (the Rolex way so to speak). Do you agree and can we chalk this up to tradition and/or status? Yet it seems when it comes to accuracy and reliability you can't beat the quartz. Agree/Disagree? Would like to hear your preference and perhaps the reasoning behind your choice.
