: editions. Is there a bond style model that
: has a silver (aluminum) bezel and blue or
: black dial?
Sure. The blue dial, steel bezel is what you want. Look for model numbers matching 25x2.80. Just like the blue/blue Bond, it is available in both full and mid sizes as well as auto or quartz.
The difference between its bezel and that of the America's Cup is that the bezel strip is highly polished with dark painted inset numbers rather than matte finish with raised numbers of the AC.
The bezel insert is steel on this one--only the dark background bezel inserts are aluminum, the shiny ones are steel or gold. As with all SMPs, the rotating bezel itself is steel, only the cosmetic insert strip with the numbers is what might be made of aluminum or gold.
The steel bezel Bond style around as long as the blue/blue Bond style has.
There is not a skeleton-hand version with black dial. Your dial choices on the skeleton-hand SMP models are dark blue or white. The white dial one is also a really nice look--and can be worn on *any* color strap and still looks great.
