: Thank you for the input. could you be more specific about
: "teething trouble"? I am really new so I do
: apologize. May i also ask which model does your friend have.
: Could that teething trouble be factory defects or something
: everyone can experience when they have a omega watch over a
: period of time.

: Thanks again for your time.

cajun Mike summed this one up well.omega did have trouble with this caliber movement. My friend had the olympic games model(not sure of watch number sorry) if it was me i would steer clear of any omega seamaster automatic chronograph with subdials at 3,9. and 6 as these are bound to have the 3000 series movement.if you go for the watch with subdials at 12,3. and 6 this is more likely to have the valjoux 7750 mod movement.of course this is a personal choice but i feel that future parts and repair availability should come in to play when considering buying an expensive watch.John.
