: I have been given three Omega Watches. There is a number 2221
: imprinted on the mechanism - I assume it is the Model #. Does
: anyone have any information as to the age or value of this
: watch. They came without the bands, I would appreciate any
: information about obtaining either the original or an
: after-market bands.

As far as I know the Omega 2221 is a chronograph for the Canadian market, similar caliber to the Lemania 15TL and similar to the Omega 33.3 in size. The Omega movement color is white, the Lemania is yellow. The dials of these fit in the 2221. From the forties-fifties. One feature is that when you pull the crown to move the hands the mechanism stops. The value depends on the condition and the case, stainless steel would go for more than $2,000, but this is a wild guess. I have two of them, bougth from a Canadian. I can post images in three or four weeks (I don't have them with me now).
