My Omega story and a question......................
First off, I love Omega Timepieces. I own a Rolex datejust, an Omega Speedmaster Day/Date with blue dial and an Omega GMT Seamaster. I was on vacation last week and happened to stop by an authorized Omega dealer-yes authorized. I observed , in the counter a bunch of high end watches (what I consider high end) offering a 50% discount. My eyes immediately set on the Broad Arrow (321.93.42.50.13.001), red gold/steel with the leather brown strap for 1/2 price. I looked at it, asked if it was new with all the papers, ect.... at which the salesman said it was authentic,brand new, but in the showcase as a disply. I left the store, went home losing sleep whether to make the purchase. 2 days later I called the salesman and purchased the watch. What do you guys think? I was very skeptical on the purchase of a $7000 watch with a 50% discount from an authorized Omega dealer. I normally deal with one Omega dealer, but felt I could not let this pass. Thanks for the help.
