: Can anyone tell me where to buy genuine Omega straps other than
: Offrei? I am looking for black rubber with orange or white
: stitching for a 45mm PO.
: If I buy from an AD, can I expect the same discount as with a
: watch? I got 30% off a watch, is this realistic for a strap?
: thanks

If you're talking about the rubber straps which have a sort of leather appearance with stitching, but are actually rubber - it may be just be! - but i am very dissatisfied with mine given the price of it.
The strap has been treated well, and only received day to day wear for less than 9 months. However already the black trim on the small edge of the strap (i.e. the part facing toward your hand, or up to your elbow) is peeling off revealing the dual layer construction of the strap. Not in small amounts - about half of one side is showing this problem already.
It also doesn't seem to hold up too well to abrasions.

Maybe i'm being picky, so please don't be put off by my moaning. Just couldn't see this post and not respond, if you know what i mean...

Next time i shall buy a leather strap i think.
