Re: Congrats on a nice watch
In Response To: Congrats on a nice watch ()

: Hi there, lovely watch you have got there... big solid piece of
: 70's class. I have a soft spot for the tuning fork movements too
: and due to the generally negative feeling out there, they can be
: picked up for a good price, like yours. I love the hmm they make
: and the smoothness of the second hand movement is unbelievable.
: Good time keeping to boot - the only problem is that batteries
: don't last for that long I tend to get 8-9months for the high
: capacity ones.

: Here is a couple of shots of one of mine... I also have a
: Constellation - but no pics to hand:

Thanks a lot for the positive comments.. it's greatly appreciated!

That truly is the beauty of the second hand movement... they may be battery powered but the capacity for the hand to sweep as opposed to the battery power of quartz, with it's second jumps, is a joy to see.

And the hummmmmmm!!!

Nice watch you have there too sir, hope you can get some pics up of your Constellation watch in the future.

Greg. :)
