omega seamaster 600 with date at 3 manual wind
hi everyone , first time on here and need some help and advice please.i was recently given an omega seamaster 600 with date at 3 manual wind ,a really nice ,classy looking gents watch in exchange for a pair of workboots,(yes i thought it was a good deal too!).i am not able to send pictures at the moment but i can give as much info about the watch as possible in the hope that someone may be able to answer my questions.the watch is steel with a steel back and a champagne dial,no actual numbers on dial just gold 5 minute markers and 3 gold hands.the number on the inside of the backplate is 136.011,calibre number is 611 and there is an 8 digit number of 21688235.words on backplate are fab suisse, swiss made ,acier inoxydable. words on mechanism are adjusted two(2)positions 17 jewels omega watch co swiss.i would like to know what year it was made and how many were produced. also is it a 'keeper'and worthwhile restoring, it does function but tends to stop every couple of hours always when second hand is directly opposite the hour hand i think it may have been overwound at some point in the past may just need a general service. i have been on the official omega website and tried to research but hav'nt had any joy at all. maybe i am doing something wrong because im not very computer literate. in anticipation that someone may be able to help many, many thanks ian.
