: have been overwound at some point in the past may just need a
: general service. i have been on the official omega website and
: tried to research but hav'nt had any joy at all. maybe i am
: doing something wrong because im not very computer literate. in

I have this same model. Yours was most likely made in 1964. Not sure how many were made. I had a speedmaster completely overhauled 2 years ago with new crown, bezel & crystal. It cost about $600. Hope this helps.
