11 years is way past time for a service

Sounds like it needs servicing. Service is recommended every 3-5 years on mechanical watches. If you are in the states, I recommend sending it to Womble Watch works in Atlanta GA, or Nesbits in Seattle. Also, look for a good local watchmaker in your area that can service it. Authorized Omega service will probably cost you in the $300 range if you don't replace cosmetic parts like crystal or bezel. Congrats on getting 11 good years out of it. Time to give it a spa treatment.
