Most people don't realize that mechanical watches need to be serviced. Im sure if dealers were honest with people about the cost of servicing them every 5 years or so they would sell more quartz watches.

Anyway, both prices are reasonable. The bezel is about $220 aftermarket retail and the service cost is actually kinda low. I would get the service done there.
