An alternative would be to find a register BHI member in your area:

who specialises in watches, and speak to them, see if you like their response.

I would *much* rather have a qualified professional watchmaker look at my watch, than some trainee in the back of a high street AD. Or watch months whilst it goes off to Omega, and their trainees,
