: Hi there,

: I have exactly the same problem after a year. Also in the chrono
: hand has started striking the hour hand and stopping the watch.
: I returned mine to omega, and they say that they have found a
: mark on the watch which suggests an impact, so they wont repair
: it unless I fork out £435. I've never dropped it or anything (I
: am a lawyer so I lead a fairly benign existence, and not much
: opportunity for physical shock!!) I would be interested to know
: how you get on. It sounds like a fault.

: Marc

Sorry to hear that Marc, I think you should stand your ground and I'm sure they'd back down about the impact claim.
I am happy to report my watch has been fine ever since that strange event, I canonly assume that it was really low on power or something. I was advised to give it a good 40 turns and no probs since. Let us know how you get on with omega, theres plenty of evidence of failures out there so collect them together and threaten legal action. Hope you get some good news :-(
