Re: Speedmaster/seamaster misprint dial?Prototype?put togeth

Hi Andreas

So Its a total put together a speedmaster case with the wrong caseback and bracelet
with a seamaster dial that someone has added mark111 to.I did buy it hoping it was something unusual. It looks like it has been like this for some years my watchmaker looked at this watch and said that he beleived the dial looked original do you think the whole dial has been redone or just the addition of "mark 111".So what now for my "frankenwatch" keep it as is and write it off as a learning experience redo it as a speedy mark 111?Do you think the bracelet looks like its off a "tv dial"seamaster(probably where the dial came from before it was altered?
Nice collection leaves me for dead I have a omega Yachting chrono a speedsonic lobster a current 300m seamaster chrono and the"frankenwatch".Thanks for taking the time to help me with this watch.

: You can see clearly that somebody but "Mark III" later on
: the dial. Its deeper than on the seamaster mark III dial and it
: looks handmade, from India or elsewhere. And the other watches
: from that dealer are looking strange too. I hope you didn't buy
: this watch. I'm sure there isn't a seamaster Mark III only the
: BigBlue is existing in two versions seamaster and speedmaster.

: By the way my small collection:
