Either the Chronograph or the regular model would be plenty safe to swim with as the pushers are depth rated as well. Now, as to which variety to go with. I have non chrono version of the Seamaster and the planet ocean. I highly recommend either one but prefer the Planet ocean personally.

All kind of depends on what YOU want in a watch. The chronos are more bulky, particularly the PO Chrono, its a beast and probably not suited for daily wear. If you would like the chrono, I would recommend the seamaster version. It has a more proven movement, is cheaper and less bulky. A nice piece really.

Best bet for you is to go find an authorized dealer with them and try them on. If you find one you like we can recommend a dealer or two that will give you a good price new in box with all the bells & whistles.

Good luck with your decision.
