Re: 2009 Omega Speedmaster Reliability??

: Hello everyone,

: I am in the market for another watch. (I currently own a 2007 Omega
: Seamaster automatic I have been very happy with). I am looking
: for a gold or gold/stainless watch and have been considering the
: 2009 Speed Master Broad Arrow with the 3313 co-axial escapement.
: I have read nothing but bad things regarding the older movement
: without the co-axial escapement. Is this newer 3313 movement
: considered to be more reliable?

: Thanks for you time,

: Merry Christmas,

: Alexander

Yes.

Like many things which get a reputation, the problems with the 33xx watches have been somewhat exaggerated.
