Omega 1040 service *PIC*

Hello

I'm looking to have my Seamaster 176.007 mov. 1040 serviced, cleaned and thoroughly polished. It's a sentimental piece, and seems to operate ok (last serviced perhaps 8 years ago), but runs a little fast I think. (c. 1972, and does show all of it's 38 years of daily use). What I'm looking for really is perhaps a standard service with the emphasis on cosmetics and appearance...polishing and cleaning.

It needs pushers, crown, and seals, which I've heard are routinely replaced in addition to the crystal during service.

the 'chapter ring' is currently a broken chrome piece - and I've seen others that have either blue or white ones on the internets, but those seem to have less of a flat bezel around the dial, if that makes any sense.

I've heard of womble, nesbits and omega in Bienne/Biel, which all seem to deliver differing levels of satisfaction, especially in terms of turn-around. I'm guessing from looking through the posts that omega in the US is not be trusted....

Thanks for any and all thoughts and recommendations...
