Omega Seamaster Mid losing time...quickly!

Hey All,
I recently purchased a used Omega Seamster mid-size (blue face Bond?) and it's really losing time quickly. I got a deal on the web (hahaha) with no box, papers, strap, etc. I took it to a reputable dealer (Feldmar Los Angeles) and they cracked the case. It is definitely an Omega. I left the shop and started wearing it and, sure enough, it loses 5-10 minute A DAY. I would imagine I'm looking at a repair that's nearly the cost of the watch. Is there anyone out there that's had a similar issue? Thanks in advance.
