Re: Omega Seamaster Mid losing time...quickly!

Seems it just needs a basic service. Any competent watchmaker should be able to handle the job. Look for a local reputable independent. May cost you a couple hundred. If you send to Omega service it will be maybe a couple hundred more than that.

: Hey All,
: I recently purchased a used Omega Seamster mid-size (blue face
: Bond?) and it's really losing time quickly. I got a deal on the
: web (hahaha) with no box, papers, strap, etc. I took it to a
: reputable dealer (Feldmar Los Angeles) and they cracked the
: case. It is definitely an Omega. I left the shop and started
: wearing it and, sure enough, it loses 5-10 minute A DAY. I would
: imagine I'm looking at a repair that's nearly the cost of the
: watch. Is there anyone out there that's had a similar issue?
: Thanks in advance.
