: I have a Seamaster Pro 300 it is 4 months old I have worn it
: everyday for at least 10 hours each day. I discovered this
: morning that yesterday evening after taking it off it stopped
: running after 2.5 hours. It did not advance the date and did not
: start until I put it back on, and then stopped about every
: minute for a few seconds. After wearing it for an hour it has
: begun to run fine. Keep in mind it could not have run out its
: power reserve. Just wondering if anyone has ever seen this
: happen, or if there is a logical explanation.

First, I would disagree that it may not have run out its power reserve. Ten hours wearing if you do not routinely move your arm in the course of the day may not be enough to keep the watch wound, particularly if it were not ever fully wound.

Unscrew the screw-down crown, wind the watch's crown at least 25 full turns in a clockwise direction, push the crown back in and screw it down. Now it will be fully wound. I suspect that you may not have any issues for weeks. If it again stops in the way you described, note how long it took from a the date you gave the watch the above-described full wind.

Or fully wind the watch (after work on a weekend) and let the watch then run down and see how many hours it took. If you do not have 40 hours power reserve, get the watch serviced.
